On February 13, 2024, AMSSA hosted a 2-hour virtual workshop presented by a board-certified Behavior Analyst, Dr. Brenda Fossett, on “Starting Off on the Right Foot: Using Visual Support Strategies for Young Children with Developmental Disabilities.” for IRCC-funded early childhood educators in B.C.
For those who were unable to attend the workshop, the recording along with a supplementary handout are now available as part of an e-learning course “Starting Off on the Right Foot: Using Visual Support Strategies for Young Children with Developmental Disabilities”.
Through this e-learning course, you will gain greater insight into the challenges children with Developmental Disabilities face, as well as a variety of easy-to-implement strategies to improve communication and enhance predictability for young children with developmental disabilities.
