This handout was produced by Sharon Nyangweso (QuakeLab) to provide additional guidance and tools on how organizations in smaller and rural centres with more limited resources can prioritize how they approach anti-racism work. While it is important that meaningful anti-racism work is well-resourced rather than simply considered an afterthought, we know that the reality that sometimes organizations do not have the ideal amount of resources. This handout was designed as a “self-assessment” to help smaller/rural centres explore which actions to prioritize with their organizational anti-racism work and some key steps to get started.
