As the B.C. settlement and integration sector transitions into a new funding cycle coupled with changing immigration levels plan and public perceptions around immigration, knowledge of how to best navigate this transition and these changes is valuable to organizations in the settlement and integration sector.
AMSSA’s Fundamentals of Change Management Webinar, held on February 26th, 2025, touches on the key principles that organizations should consider for change management, “the process that helps organizations navigate change, from the initial planning stages to implementation and resolution”.
This webinar was hosted by Grace McKeown, an instructor with the UBC Change Management certificate program. McKeown has worked as a volunteer Knowledge Philanthropist with Vantage Point, providing change management strategic planning to non-profit organizations with a focus on the experiences of non-profit and settlement sector organizations. With this experience, McKeown was able to offer insight on change management that was most applicable to the settlement and integration sector.
