AMSSA and its member agencies and stakeholders organize public community events, workshops for newcomers to Canada as well as professional development training, workshops, seminars and conferences for (re)settlement, language training diversity and inclusion sector employees. ASCEND
This training is offered in partnership with the Immigrant Employment Council of BC.

ASCEND is a dynamic online program that clarifies what Canadian employers really expect from their hires. Through e-games, videos, audio clips, graphics, short assignments, and key ideas delivered in entertaining ways, ASCEND helps you build the employment soft skills that matter. A certificate of completion is awarded at the end.
