CAREER PATHS FOR SKILLED IMMIGRANTS – Information Session
January 19 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Care Aide registration is a way Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) can gain exposure to the Canadian Healthcare system, immerse themselves in Canadian work culture, and better understand the scope of practice for their profession in Canada. At this event, we will discuss the pathways to gain care aide registration in BC and share more about supports that IEHPs can receive from the Career Paths program if they are eligible.
At this event, Choose2Care will also present information regarding the HCA Competency Assessment Bursary, which provides funding for IEHPs who are applying for care aide registration in BC.
This event is for internationally educated health professionals, including nurses and medical doctors, who are interested in gaining care aide registration either as a final employment goal or on their pathway to achieving nursing/medical registration in BC.
Please register for this event on Eventbrite.
Career Paths assists internationally educated nurses, medical doctors, health care assistants, and sonographers, who have PR status in Canada, to gain their occupational licensure in BC. Career Paths is funded by the Government of British Columbia. For more information about our program, please visit our website.
