On September 20, 2023, AMSSA hosted a virtual workshop “B.C.’s New Asbestos Regulations and Why They Matter for Newcomers”. Representatives from WorkSafeBC presented on asbestos, providing an overview of the new protections and legislation to ensure worker safety, what it means for employers and workers, and how the certification process works for workers.
