The Language Companion, Artefact Collection and Avenue Solutions for Remote LINC Delivery

This module is the first of four installments in a larger course called “Maximizing IRCC-funded LINC Resources”. This module shares the ways LINC teams have been using Language Companions in digital contexts, Avenue solutions & various resources. It supports LINC teams with understanding ways that BC providers have been using Language Companions in digital contexts and provides:

  • current practices with using the Language Companion binders, Avenue ePortfolios and Moodle folders to store and manage PBLA artefacts;
  • useful summaries of current Avenue tools and training available for BC LINC programs and teachers not using Avenue; and
  • information on how to migrate Avenue “learning objects” to your own LMS, updates on Avenue’s compatibility with mobile phones and more.
