In this Virtual Information Session, participants will gain valuable insights into the mental health challenges faced by international post-secondary students and actions that promote their wellness. The session features speakers from leading settlement service organizations and post-secondary institutions who share their expertise in equipping frontline staff and service providers with effective strategies to support students.
This session is designed for frontline staff and settlement workers who support these students. Attendees will learn about:
- Key stressors impacting international post-secondary students’ mental health and wellness
- Community and campus-based programs and services that support student well-being
- Practical actions for post-secondary institutions and community organizations
- How settlement services and educational institutions can collaborate effectively to address student mental health challenges
