AMSSA is pleased to release the Summary Report for the National Small Centre Coordination Meeting held in February 2026. This Meeting convened representatives from Settlement Service Providers from small centres across the country, to engage in dialogue, knowledge-sharing, networking and connecting on key priorities, with a focus on relational and reciprocal learning. The theme for the event, “Deeply Rooted, Widely Felt: Community Impact in Small and Rural Settings”, reflects the vital role that SPOs in Small Centres play in the journeys of newcomers, their surrounding community, and their impact that stretches beyond the locality and for generations to come. The Summary Report highlights challenges, best practices, and action items on key themes that emerged from the event.
