The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) is a unique and innovative way in which Canada brings together protection and solutions for refugees with economic immigration. As Canada continues to explore new ways to address the needs of displaced people across the world as seen recently with the special measures through the Afghan Resettlement Program and the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel, the goal of the EMPP is to provide permanent solutions for refugees and other displaced people with the skills and qualifications that Canadian employers need. This webinar hosted by AMSSA’s B.C. Refugee Resource Network and the B.C. Refugee Hub, has speakers from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and Jumpstart Refugee Talent discussing how the pilot program works, the eligibility requirements and how skilled refugees can access the pilot.
