Finding a home that is suitable and affordable is a major challenge for families and single renters across the province. This challenge is magnified particularly for newcomers whose past experiences and knowledge of seeking and securing shelter may differ greatly from those born and raised in British Columbia.
This 2018 E-Symposium featured the research, knowledge and recommendations of experts from national and local BC housing organizations.
The panelists provided settlement staff and LINC instructors with the information and resources to better support their clients in securing suitable housing and navigating common issues.
