This e-learning is converted from a virtual workshop held on February 24, 2025, on Incorporating Art in the Work with Children – Expressive Arts Therapy to Support Neurodivergent Newcomer Children.
This course examines the advantages of expressive arts therapy that can be applied to newcomer children from early years to school age, who face unique challenges during their journey of settling into a new school or community. It is also an opportunity for those who work with newcomer children in the settlement sector to learn about how incorporating art and concepts of expressive arts therapy can support their work in a neurodiverse classroom.
Included in the e-learning are a workbook that participants can download and follow as they go through the course, and a downloadable resource handout for participants to reference.
This e-learning course is free. Upon successful completion of series of chapters and quizzes, participants will be able to obtain a certificate of completion.
