AMSSA is excited to announce the release of an Anti-Racism Action Plan template, which has been developed as a practical and reflective tool to help organizations embed anti-racist practices within their structures, policies, and day-to-day operations. This template was developed in collaboration with members of our Anti-Racism Working Groups, who have helped ensure the tool reflects sector-specific challenges and opportunities.
This template is not meant to be a one-size-fits all solution, but rather a tool that organizations are welcome to adapt and modify in ways that best meet their needs. It is also designed to support organizations at any stage of their anti-racism journey—whether you are just starting or have been undertaking this work for a longer period.
Please note that AMSSA is not mandating that organizations use this template when developing their Anti-Racism Action Plan. Rather, it is meant to be an optional support given all IRCC funded service providers are being asked to develop an Anti-Racism Action Plan. Organizations are welcome to use as much or as little, even none, of the template based on their needs.
