The security of sensitive digital information continues to become more vulnerable as technology evolves at a rapid pace. To help settlement service organizations refresh and enhance their data privacy protocols, on May 8 and 14 2024, AMSSA hosted a two-part webinar series featuring cybersecurity expert Jamie Hari from the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA).
Part 1 covers types of data handled in the Settlement and Integration sector. Jamie provides techniques for securing sensitive information, highlighting case studies of standard operational principles as well as the consequences of data breaches. Additionally, Jamie covers best practices for securing online behavior and recognizing and mitigating common cyber threats.
