With two decades of leadership across complex, regulated industries, including his role as Chief Membership Officer at Greater Vancouver REALTORS®, he is known for turning complexity into clarity and strategy into meaningful outcomes. Ashutosh champions human-centred leadership, inclusive decision-making and strong governance as foundations for resilient organizations and communities. Oleksandra Gamalii is an event and administrative professional with over 7 years of experience in event planning, coordination, customer service, and team management. She has organized community events of various sizes and enjoys working with diverse teams and audiences. Oleksandra is passionate about community engagement, meaningful experiences, and contributing to initiatives that make a positive impact.
Monica Sousa
Monica Sousa has over six years of experience supporting community programs, volunteer teams, and event coordination across BC’s non-profit sector. With a background in journalism and as a published co-author of anthologies in Brazilian Portuguese, she brings strong communication skills, empathy, and cultural awareness to everyday operations and public outreach. Having navigated the Canadian immigration process herself, Monica cares deeply about volunteer engagement, organizing welcoming events, and helping newcomer communities thrive.
Hassan Pardawalla
Hassan is a Business Development and Operations Executive, working with Series A/B founders and growth-stage SMBs in cleantech, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. He is also an educator and facilitator, teaching MBAs at a local University. He volunteers with Vantage Point, BBABC, JABC, InnovationUBC, and New Ventures BC, and serves on the boards of the Vancouver Fringe Festival, The Improv Centre, and Canadapreneur.
He mentors BIPOC founders and supports newcomers in building networks and community. Outside of work, he goes gravel biking, hikes in the mountains, and constantly listens to podcasts and books.
Kanika Mehra
Kanika Mehra is the Director of Youth Programs and Community Services at Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society. With more than eight years of experience in the community services sector, she has contributed to initiatives supporting youth, newcomers, women, and diverse communities. Her work has focused on workforce development, community engagement, program development, and building meaningful partnerships. Kanika values collaboration and is passionate about creating opportunities that help individuals and communities grow and succeed.
