PICS Society Workshop – How to Prepare for Your Interview

The PICS Society Settlement Department is hosting an online workshop to help youth newcomers with their interview skills.   • Learn how to confidently showcase your skills and unique qualities.
  • Identify and highlight your key strengths with real-life examples.
  • How to discuss weaknesses strategically without hurting your chances.
  • Learn how to answer common interview questions.
  • Learn about informational interviews and the 30-second elevator pitch. Which will help you get closer to an interview.

Must be between 15 – 30 years old and meet one of the following requirements:
  • Permanent Resident (PR) of Canada
  • Foreign citizen who has been selected to become a PR

  • Protected Person as defined in section 95 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA)
