Canadian Workplace Culture & Employer Expectations

May 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Do you know what Canadian employers expect of staff?

  • Understand how conflicting cultural expectations at work can result in
    misunderstandings and lost opportunities.
  • Discuss how culture plays an important role in the way people interact and understand
    others.
  • Learn several reasons why immigrants sometimes struggle to adjust to workplace
culture, based on feedback from employers.

Priority will be given to Permanent Residents, Refugees (Government Assisted, Privately
Sponsored or Protected Person) and Caregivers that have approval in principle. Seats are also
available to Refugee Claimants, Temporary Foreign Workers and Naturalized Citizens.
