AMSSA and its member agencies and stakeholders organize public community events, workshops for newcomers to Canada as well as professional development training, workshops, seminars and conferences for (re)settlement, language training diversity and inclusion sector employees. YES² PROGRAM – Youth Employment Support Services
ABOUT
- 2 WEEKS OF PAID SKILLS TRAINING
- 9 WEEKS OF PAID WORK EXPERIENCE
All accepted participants will be paid minimum wage for the 11 weeks of the program for 20-30 hours per week

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
- Youth ages 15-30
- Canadian Citizen
- Permanent Resident
- Refugee Status
Individuals with one or more of the following:
- High school non- completion
- Self-identified as disabled
- Homeless or living in low-income household
- Involvement in Criminal Justice System
- Substance Abuse
- Self-identified as LGBTQ2+
- Indigenous
- Recent Immigrant
- Single Parent
- Involuntary not in education, employment, or training for 6 months
