On April 24th, CCEL will launch a new program called Collaboratory with an event titled “Social Impact Lab”. This event brings together community partners, UBC students, staff, and faculty to celebrate past university-community collective actions and explore social issues in Vancouver.

Participants will also have the opportunity to join other passionate attendees to collaborate on a collective action project over the summer in one of the following areas: poverty reduction, housing, environmental sustainability, mental health, Black neighbourhood revitalization, refugee settlement, and healthy masculinity and non-violence from an Indigenous perspective.

Community partners are invited to this event. Meet like-minded organizations, network with UBC students and faculty, engage with UBC on some of your organizational needs, and inform CCEL on the social issues directly related to your industry.
