Stories of Partnership with AMSSA & UBC’s Centre for Migration Studies
For their first session, they are putting a spotlight on the evolving relationship between UBC Centre for Migration Studies and AMSSA, a province-wide association well known as an umbrella organization for the BC immigration and settlement sector. AMSSA’s CEO, Katie Crocker, will be joined by Antje Ellermann, the Director of UBC’s Centre for Migration Studies (CMS), and Sean Lauer, CMS’ Community Liaison. Moderated by UBC CMS’ Javier Ojer, their speakers will explore the exciting outcomes of their partnership and Katie will share direct advice for UBC staff looking to enhance their community engagement efforts.
For those who cannot join them in person, they’re hoping to turn this session into a podcast. Stay tuned!
