Retail Connections – Immigrant Youth Retail Employment Program

North Shore Multicultural Society presents Retail Connections.

For young adults actively looking for employment.

This program offers:

  • 2 weeks of daily full-time group-training sessions including:
    • Resume, cover letter, interview and job search skill
    •  Retail specific training
  •  Industry recognized short term training certificates:
    • WorldHost Customer Service
    •  Food Safe Level 1
  • One-to-one coaching and job-search support post program

This program is government funded and free of charge.

Eligibility:

  • For immigrant youth and young adults ages 30 and younger
  • Must be Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen or a Protected Person
  • Intermediate English language skills
  • Unemployed, non EI eligible
  • Actively seeking employment
