Mission Refugee Readiness Forum

January 20, 2016 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 pm

Mission Community Services Society Settlement and Integration department is hosting a public Refugee Readiness Forum at the Clarke Theatre, starting at 6 p.m.

“It will be an opportunity to do some refugee myth-busting, to share information about what is in store for Mission, and to listen to qualified refugee speakers, and to hear how the public can help,” said Rick Rake, MCSS manager of Settlement and Seniors Programs.

It will also provide a forum for public feedback on the Syrian refugee situation and Mission’s potential role in resettlement.

The forum will be facilitated by David Gouthro. Learn more about the forum by clicking here and watching Mr. Gouthro’s promotional video.
