Over 4000 Job Seekers Visiting the PICS MEGA JOB FAIR 2023

Surrey, July, 26, 2023 – Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) is excited to announce its upcoming Mega Job Fair, scheduled to take place on July 27, 2023 (Thursday) in Surrey, BC. This highly anticipated event is set to bring together job seekers, employers, and dignitaries for a day of networking and professional opportunities. Around 80+ exhibitors are signed up and over 4000 job seekers are already registered for the event.

PICS Mega Job Fair 2023

Date: July 27, 2023 (THURSDAY)

Time: 10 AM to 3:30 PM

Location: North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex

Entry: Free and open to the public

 

Connecting Talent with Employers:

The PICS Mega Job Fair is an annual event that serves as a platform to connect job seekers with a diverse range of employers from various industries. With a focus on inclusivity and community empowerment, the fair aims to bridge the gap between skilled individuals seeking employment and employers seeking talented professionals.

 

Prominent Dignitaries and Opening Ceremony:

The Mega Job Fair will commence with a momentous opening ceremony at 9:30 AM. Esteemed dignitaries (the list is attached), will grace the event with their presence and deliver opening remarks. The ceremony will be presided over by Satbir Cheema, President & CEO of PICS.

 

Wide Array of Participating Exhibitors:

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse selection of 80 exhibitors, including:

 

– BC CORRECTIONS

– Western Community College and PICS ILTOP55+

– University Canada West, FCR, SafeGen, and KPU

The PICS Mega Job Fair aims to empower individuals with new possibilities and strengthen the workforce in the region. Job seekers will have access to a wealth of career opportunities, professional development resources, and networking connections.
