AMSSA Webinar: Bridging Language Learning Assessment with the Real World
This webinar will showcase both smaller and larger centre approaches to bridging language learning and assessment with community integration. Settlement staff will gain a better understanding of real-world task requirements and LINC teams will have the opportunity to discuss the versatility of assessment. Three British Columbia language instructors, including two working with Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA), will identify ways to increase community connections through task-based assessment as well as through volunteerism.
