International migration is now the largest single contributor to population growth in BC. Immigration is also the leading component of labour force growth in this province.

Immigrant serving agencies provide services to immigrants, refugees and other newcomers. AMSSA is the provincial umbrella for community-based immigrant serving agencies in BC.

The Immigrant Integration Coordination Committee (IICC) is a coalition of AMSSA member agencies providing community-based immigrant services throughout the province.

Through a “sectoral support” contract with the provincial government, AMSSA’s services also extend to a broad range of immigrant service providers and stakeholders in BC.
