Kamala is currently the City of Vancouver\u2019s Indigenous Arts and Culture planner, and she has worked with the City for many years in various capacities, including the Dialogues Project.<\/p>\n<p>Kamala will talk about some of the current conversations and considerations about the work of \u201creconciliation\u201d and decolonization, and she will also address how those of us whose ancestors are elsewhere can work to repair the harms done to the ancestors of these lands and waters in this beautiful place we are so fortunate to live and work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She will place an emphasis on questions that people and organizations often have about how to begin, like \u201cWhere do we start?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This lunch and learn webinar is a preliminary conversation to the April 5th Symposium <em>\u00ab\u00a0Indigenous-Newcomers Relationships\u00a0\u00bb: An Organizational Dialogue on Unsettling Practices<\/em> that will be held in Vancouver.
