En travaillant ensemble, ces organisations ont augment\u00e9 chacune leurs connaissances sur leurs communaut\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de multiculturalisme et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 lutter contre le racisme. En 1983, AMSSA a \u00e9tendu ses services aux organisations qui viennent en aide aux nouveaux arrivants et arrivantes. \u00c0 titre d\u2019organisme-cadre provincial des organisations d\u2019aide aux personnes immigrantes, ainsi qu\u2019aux nouveaux arrivants et arrivantes en Colombie-Britannique, AMSSA a acquis la r\u00e9putation de bien collaborer avec les gouvernements et les partenaires communautaires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle provinciale et nationale. Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des organisations qui font partie de ses membres et de ses partenaires communautaires, AMSSA joue un r\u00f4le important en r\u00e9glant les probl\u00e8mes \u00e9mergents et en influen\u00e7ant les politiques pertinentes. <\/p>\n<p>AMSSA excelle dans la cr\u00e9ation de partenariats et de r\u00e9seaux, l\u2019organisation et l\u2019animation d\u2019activit\u00e9s de formation, ainsi que la production de ressources d\u2019information tr\u00e8s pertinentes fond\u00e9es sur les recherches actuelles et les tendances politiques.
