DESCRIPTION:Developing diverse funding sources is gaining in importance for non-profit organizations. Charlotte focuses on Innoweave’s Seniors SI program\, which is a partnership with the Government of Canada to help communities across Canada generate\, implement\, and scale socially innovative community level approaches to reduce the social isolation of seniors. Prior to joining The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation to work on the Innoweave initiative\, Charlotte was a consultant at Accenture focused on nonprofit clients. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from Queen’s University. \nIrene Gannitsos\, Vancity Community Foundation \nIrene has over 15 years of experience in supporting and investing in the development\, start-up and growth of social enterprises and the social enterprise sector.   In her current role at VCF she is responsible for the strategy and execution of VCF’s strategic grant and support programs and partnerships for non-profit social enterprise and community-owned real estate.  Irene sits on the board of The Cleaning Solution\, a non-profit commercial cleaning business based in Vancouver that provides quality employment opportunities to people living with mental illness.
