The Migrant Worker Hub’s second e-learning course “Open Work Permit for Vulnerable Workers” is a tool for settlement organizations, migrant worker support organizations, professional associations, unions, employers, volunteers and all individuals who support migrant workers to enhance their knowledge about the Open Work Permit for Vulnerable Workers applications.
Upon completion of this 1.5hr course participants will have acquired:
- Knowledge of the Open Work Permit for Vulnerable Workers, eligibility requirements, and how to apply;
- Understanding of what abuse is and the documents that can be used as evidence of abuse;
- Insights on the challenges migrant workers face when applying for this type of work permit and once they have obtained it.
