In an effort to increase engagement with newcomers to British Columbia, settlement service providers have increasingly turned to creative partnerships.

Cooperation between settlement organizations and a variety of community groups has significantly improved immigration services in various communities throughout the province. These IRCC-Funded collaborations are known as Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPS).

In 2017, there were 17 LIPS funded across BC. This video profiles how two of these LIPS use innovative partnerships to improve settlement outcomes.
