Alpine Anxiety and Stress Relief Clinic: “The Power of Breathing to Relax” Your breath is your greatest ally to help you relax. Learn quick, powerful techniques of breathing to relieve stress.

3:00 pm Sportsball: running non-competitive sports programme for children between the ages of 16 months to 10 years old.

10:30 am Sprockids: Bicycle information, demonstration & introduction (kids/family)
11:30 am Hearts in Motion Walking Club presented by Heart and Stroke Foundation & South Vancouver Neighbourhood House 
Join us for a 30 minute walk to Trout Lake!  Learn about Hearts in Motion Walking Clubs!  Sign up for a program!

Earth Heads: Fun, hands on activity for kids and nature

The Downtown Eastside Community Kitchen Project with Leo Ramirez: A Latin American Recipe

Sprouting Chefs with Barb McMahon: “Healthy Snacks for Kids”  - demonstration will involve kids in the audience to participate

The Dizzy Whisk with Hilit Nurick: 2 or 3 girls will help in the preparation of chopping, grating, zesting, crushing and seasoning of a yummy Black Olive Tapenade

3:00 pm

The Canadian Diabetes Association
“Food Skills for New Immigrant Families” will offer healthy eating/cooking breakfast options for families on the go, including smoothies, muffins and other tasty treats.

     
ENTERTAINMENT

10:30 am

 

Kin Fung Athletic Group: This local traditional Chinese Martial Arts group will start off our entertainment with their Lion Dance Team.
11:30 am Vancouver Circus School: Stick around as these jugglers will also conduct interactive juggling workshops after they perform!

12:30 pm

 

Mukutano Singing and Drumming Group: Meaning 'Join Together' in Swahili, this group will perform songs, dances and spoken word.
1:30 pm

The David Priest Quartet “Jazz for the fun of it”: A quartet of piano, base, drums and saxophone, who are featured in the upcoming Vancouver Jazz Festival, will play straight ahead, toe-tapping jazz. 

 
2:30 pm Vancouver Traveling Band : This big, fun, marching band will show off their stuff outside and inside!

 

 

3:30 pm Yuji: An international band with members from Brazil, Canada and Japan, this three piece jazz band will be playing Brazilian standards and original music composed by Yuji.
