The Multicultural Health Fair features a number of fun, informative activities for you and your family.  We invite you to....

• Visit the Exhibitor Hall where over 45 organizations and community agencies are providing important health information, interactive displays, and prizes.  Multilingual staff and volunteers will help answer your health questions.

• Learn fun, healthy activities at LEAP BC’s Children’s Corner.  LEAP BC is a 2010 Legacies Now program, created in partnership with the Province of British Columbia and the University of Victoria.  The LEAP BC program provides children from birth to age five with a strong foundation in literacy, physical activity and healthy eating through fun activities and play.

• Watch a Healthy Cooking Demonstration and sample our Chef’s creations. Download Chef Thaung Lin Yan's easy and tasty Chicken Pad Thai recipe!

• Attend the "Health Services in Vancouver" Workshop...find out how to access basic health services - presented in Mandarin, Farsi and Spanish.

• Enjoy and participate along with lively, multicultural entertainment and fitness demonstrations.

• Visit the Health Screening Area to get your blood pressure and blood sugar tested, receive an assessment of your abdominal girth or body mass index and much more.  Learn about the importance of dental care and complete an oral cancer risk factor survey.  Please note that appointments are necessary for health screenings, book early!
